Responsibilities
- Engagement: walks outings games crafts meal preparation grocery shopping and conversation
- Light Housekeeping: laundry vacuuming dishes dusting trash removal and checking mail
- Personal Care: bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assist with transportation to doctors appointments
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or in-home environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Observe and enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Experience as a Caregiver in the home setting
- Completion of aCNA and/or HHA Program with an accredited school (Not applicable for Companions)
- Take pride in providing high-quality care
