Job Summary
A creative secondary school in Bath is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Music ECT to join its Performing Arts department from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a school where the arts are highly valued and creativity is encouraged across the curriculum.
About the role
The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 delivering engaging lessons that develop students musical understanding performance ability and creativity.
As an ECT you will benefit from a structured induction programme regular mentoring and support from an experienced and collaborative department.
The role will involve:
Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivering lessons covering performance composition and musical theory
Preparing students for GCSE Music coursework and examinations
Encouraging participation in concerts performances and school productions
Supporting the development of the Music curriculum
You will work closely with experienced teachers who will support your development throughout your ECT programme.

The ideal candidate
Qualified teacher with QTS or completing teacher training
Strong subject knowledge in Music
Ability to teach Music across KS3 and KS4
Passion for performance and creative education
A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
