JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Research Technician 2 in
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs basic research of cell culture including primary and stem cells.
Performs molecular work including rt-PCR and ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay).
Assists with sample preparation.
Assists with biomaterials preparation including nansome synthesis.
Assists with data analysis and interpretation.
Assists with manuscript preparation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:Bachelors Degree in a science.(TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
EXPERIENCE: ORa combination of college coursework and work experience to equal four (4) years.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong work ethic professionalism reliability and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to generate organize and manage experimental data.
- Basic experience in searching scientific literature.
