You will monitor activity conduct routine patrols of assigned areas and document security-related observations while communicating clearly with the team and site contacts. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors while carrying out Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and assigned security-related procedures.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification verifying resident and visitor authorization issuing temporary credentials as directed and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
• Monitor cameras intercoms alarms and other access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and report irregular activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with emergency response activities and contacting management and/or public services as required.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation communicate pertinent information during shift handoff and coordinate with property staff regarding access-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
