Title: X-Ray Technologist Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: Night Shift 3x10-Hour (22:00 08:30)
Job Description
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. The technologist will conduct general X-ray imaging for emergency trauma and inpatient cases while ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This role requires experience in Level 1 trauma settings and the ability to work with pediatric and neonatal patients including NICU cases.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using general X-ray equipment.
Conduct imaging exams for emergency department patients including trauma and reduction cases.
Perform portable X-ray examinations for patients in inpatient units and hospital floors.
Provide imaging services for pediatric and neonatal patients including NICU cases.
Operate radiology equipment such as Shimadzu Rad-Speed systems and portable imaging units.
Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety during imaging procedures.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate patient identification before imaging procedures.
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols in all imaging activities.
Participate in on-call coverage if residing locally and assist with holiday coverage as required.
Required Qualifications
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Active Ohio State Radiologic Technologist license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
Experience working in Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma environments.
Experience performing imaging for NICU and neonatal patients.
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures patient positioning and radiation safety.
