Micron account is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Support Engineer to this role you will provide handson engineering support for Microns advanced semiconductor processes and equipment. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams and global partners to drive process innovation across key technology areas including: MDP DDP ALD Etch FEP EPI CMP IMP PDC Advanced Packaging. This role can be based in Taichung Linkou or Tainan with the expectation to travel regularly to support all locations depending on business needs.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations system diagnoses and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment
Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture the most advanced semiconductor chips many of which are inside everyday electronic devices
Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments
Troubleshoot complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues
Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust
Apply your growing knowledge of the companys processes and customers to help solve a range of problems and analyze possible solutions
Qualifications:
Masters degree in chemistry/ physics materials engineering electrical engineering optoelectronics or related field
15 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or technical support (new graduates are also welcome)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in process development or equipment troubleshooting
Familiar with Applied Materials platforms is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English (TOEIC Certification 550 is required; 700 is preferred) and Mandarin
