AppDynamics Adminstrator

Summary: As a Data Engineer you will design develop and maintain data solutions that facilitate data generation collection and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines ensuring data quality and implementing ETL processes to effectively migrate and deploy data across various systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization ensuring that data solutions are robust scalable and aligned with business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: - AppDynamics Administration - Install configure and upgrade AppDynamics controllers agents and extensions.- Manage user roles permissions and security settings.- Ensure high availability and scalability of AppDynamics components.- Configure application monitoring for and other supported technologies.- Set up health rules policies and alerts for proactive issue detection.- Integrate alerts with collaboration tools (Slack Teams PagerDuty EmailServicenow).- Monitor performance metrics such as response times error rates and resource utilization.- Design and develop custom dashboards for application infrastructure and business KPIs.- Implement advanced visualizations for real-time monitoring and reporting.- Collaborate with stakeholders to define monitoring requirements and deliver insights.- Perform root cause analysis using AppDynamics diagnostic tools.- Troubleshoot agent connectivity configuration and performance issues.- Optimize application performance based on monitoring insights.- Work closely with DevOps Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure end-to-end monitoring & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: - Experience in AppDynamics administration and development.- Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) concepts.- Hands-on experience with AppDynamics agents ( Database).- Expertise in health rules policies and alerting configuration.- Experience in dashboard creation and customization.- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and application servers (Tomcat WebLogic IIS etc.).- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and monitoring cloud-native applications.- Knowledge of Kubernetes monitoring with AppDynamics.- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps).- Familiarity with other APM tools (ELK Splunk Grafana) for comparative insights.. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AppDynamics Administration.- This position is based at our Pune office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
