Role Overview

We are seeking a System Operations Engineer (Level 4) to support complex enterprise systems and ensure high availability operational stability and continuous improvement across production environments. This role requires deep experience in production support systems engineering and infrastructure operations along with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will leverage AI-driven monitoring AIOps platforms and advanced troubleshooting techniques to enhance system reliability reduce incident noise and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide systems consultation and technical leadership for complex operational initiatives and enterprise platform support.
Investigate and resolve high-severity production incidents and escalations impacting enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Analyze complex technical challenges and evaluate design alternatives platform improvements and operational enhancements.
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to implement system changes architectural adjustments and performance improvements.
Guide engineering teams on process controls operational standards and technology governance for new initiatives.
Drive operational excellence by partnering with cross-functional teams leadership and technical stakeholders.
Utilize AI-driven observability tools anomaly detection systems and intelligent alerting frameworks to improve system monitoring and root-cause analysis.
Implement automation frameworks and AI-assisted troubleshooting tools to streamline incident response and operational workflows.
Integrate predictive analytics and AIOps insights into system capacity planning performance optimization and reliability engineering.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise infrastructure and production support environments.

Required Qualifications

5 years of experience in Systems Engineering Systems Operations or Technology Architecture.
5 years of application production support experience within enterprise environments.
5 years of experience in IT infrastructure governance including policies standards compliance alignment and operational readiness.
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise technologies such as:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- MySQL
- Unix/Linux environments
- Autosys job scheduling
- ITRS monitoring tools
- AppDynamics APM
Hands-on experience working with AI-driven monitoring platforms or AIOps solutions integrated into production environments.
Experience using Generative AI or LLM-based tools for diagnostics incident triage system pattern analysis or operational documentation.
Strong knowledge of production support processes incident management and root-cause analysis.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong written verbal and stakeholder communication skills.
An industry-recognized technology certification is preferred.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience working with financial systems or financial accounting platforms.
Experience with test-driven development practices (TDD).
Experience creating technical training materials or documentation for complex enterprise systems.
Experience designing and supporting large-scale distributed software applications.
Familiarity with Agile development environments and DevOps practices.
