An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistic Manager to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our office in Pantelimon Ilfov.
Reporting to Operations Director you will lead and optimize across Logistics department to fully deliver local and global strategy business plans targets processes and standards.
This is what you will do:
- Manage end to end logistic operations including contract negotiations performance and relationships with logistics providers in collaboration with global supply chain and global procurement;
- Ensure contract management in the Logistic area in collaboration with local Procurement;
- Overall responsible for management of the logistics processes consisting of: Warehouse Transportation and Distribution;
- Drive relevant development initiatives within warehouse transportation LogEx and CSI aligned with global supply chain standards to secure continuous improvement of service cost and competitiveness and journey towards process excellence;
- Ensure that customer requirements are meet and integrated in our process and activities;
- Meet Logistic operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Develops Logistic operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow manning and space requirements and equipment layout; implementing changes.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Lead guide and direct a high performing Logistic team and evaluate the work of direct reports.
- Build business partnering competencies within the Logistic team in a way that equips them with the required behavior and competences.
- Participate in relevant global forums for alignment of business plans and ongoing knowledge sharing to increase competences and collaboration in the international supply chain community.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and communication with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external.
- Guard and ensure compliance with global standards policies and governance requirements.
