Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Driver in Lahaina HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location you will conduct routine patrols and drive between areas as needed helping to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will respond to concerns document observations and communicate clearly while delivering a welcoming customer experience to residents and guests. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting on-site management and/or public emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures including verifying identification issuing visitor instructions and maintaining required logs.
- Observe and report suspicious activity property damage hazards and/or policy violations and complete detailed incident and shift reports in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
