Casey Auto Group is seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our team!
Our Warranty Administrator is a critical hub for our Service Departments success. You will be responsible for ensuring every claim is documented submitted and paid accurately. This role requires a blend of technical automotive knowledge meticulous accounting skills and the ability to lead the administrative flow of a high-volume service office.
Job Duties
Precision Warranty Management
- Daily Processing: Prepare record and submit warranty claims to various franchises and distributors every day.
- Compliance & Documentation: Verify all claims meet strict manufacturer criteria; correct and resubmit any rejected claims within specific time guidelines.
- Receivables & Accounting: Reconcile warranty receivables with payments; post credits and manage journal entries for overages or shortages.
- Status Tracking: Keep the Service Manager informed of any delays unpaid claims or status inquiries.
- Administrative Flow: Manage service bulletins distribute DCS reports and maintain service history files and recall notifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of general office experience (Automotive dealership experience is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with automotive parts and vendor catalogs.
- Proficiency in computer systems Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills to interface with technicians managers and manufacturers.
- Professionalism: Maintains a professional appearance and a highly organized workspace.
