Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Jupiter FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post so you will use a company vehicle to patrol assigned areas respond to calls for service and document activity. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct armed patrols and security-related presence throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter areas including regular and random patrols as assigned.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
- Control access at designated points verify identification and/or authorization when required and help to deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items.
- Complete security-related reports document incidents and patrol activities preserve observations and communicate key information to the shift lead and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have 3 Years Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Possess an Guard Card
- Be 21 years of age.
- Have 5 Years of armed security experience.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
