Job Summary
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a hands-on Automation & AI Integration Engineer to support a number of technology projects focused on building automation workflows integrating systems and deploying AI-enabled processes.
The role will involve designing and implementing practical automation solutions that connect multiple digital platforms enabling efficient data flow streamlined operations and scalable digital workflows.
This is a builder role suited to someone who enjoys rapidly designing and deploying functional systems rather than working on long enterprise development cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Automation - Design and implement automation pipelines that connect systems trigger workflows and move data between platforms.
- API Integrations - Integrate third-party systems and services using APIs webhooks and event-driven workflows.
- AI Workflow Development - Implement AI-enabled processes that convert unstructured inputs into structured outputs to support operational workflows.
- System Integration - Connect multiple tools and platforms to create cohesive operational systems.
- Data & Process Automation - Design data structures and workflows to track operational processes job states and user interactions.
- Payment & Transaction Integrations - Implement and support payment flows and financial transaction processing where required.
- Notifications & Communication Automation - Build automated messaging workflows including SMS email and platform notifications.
- Internal Tools & Dashboards - Develop lightweight operational dashboards and internal tools to manage workflows and monitor system activity.
Requirements
Workflow automation platforms (Zapier Make n8n or similar)
API integrations and webhooks
Experience working with AI / LLM APIs
Prompt engineering and structured AI outputs
Data modelling for operational systems
Payment platform integrations (e.g. Stripe)
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Building automation systems for startups or digital platforms
Designing event-driven system workflows
Integrating multiple SaaS platforms into cohesive operational systems
Developing internal operational dashboards
Experience with AI-enabled process automation
