Our formation in 2021 gives us a start-up culture and mindset while our origins bring deep industry knowledge extensive specialized expertise and geographic reach across 59 countries. Despite being a new player in our space GSCF serviced more than $60 billion in tech accounts receivables volumes in 2021. We are wholly owned and funded by Blackstone the worlds largest alternative asset manager which provides us with a large and flexible funding pool significant relationships and strategic guidance.

Our field global working capital finance represents a $5.5 trillion total addressable market that is expected to grow an additional 50% by 2026 driven by increased supply chain complexity digitization of the invoicing process and growing demand for longer payment terms. Our aim is to become the global leader in the working capital finance space.

The role:

The Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel and play a key role in working on GSCFs complex and sophisticated commercial financing business investment and other corporate matters to ensure GSCFs legal needs are fully met.

The position is based in Hungary and includes continuous interaction with the General Counsel in New York and colleagues and business partners located worldwide.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Draft negotiate and advise on a range of commercial agreements including trade financing agreements loan documents guarantees and related financing documents
• Work on legal entity administration and corporate governance in over 30 countries and provide assistance with organizational and compliance filing materials
• Review and negotiate various legal contracts and other documents including vendor contracts and NDAs
• Work on a wide range of in-house legal matters draft and review statutory and other corporate documents provide advice and support on the corporate law matters
• Coordinate with internal business and operations including credit tax treasury operations connection with legal reviews
• Research and provide guidance on regulatory requirements applicable to GSCFs business globally
• Correspond with local counsel regarding documentation and team questions and coordinate review by such counsel
• Support HR Team in employment law related matters including drafting and reviewing of documents

What You Bring to the Team:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience as a lawyer
• Law degree and successful Bar Exam required
• Fluency in Hungarian and English
  
• German language proficiency would be a plus
• Strong understanding of Hungarian Labor Code and employment law
• Must have strong working knowledge of Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication abilities
• Able to work under pressure to prioritize competing demands
• Proactive and able to act on own initiative
• Individual of high integrity with the self-confidence to see many sides of a problem and resolve issues with empathy and intelligence.
• Highly organized analytical and strategic thinker who can identify and solve problems in an efficient manner
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
