Were looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Columbus Courtyard Nursery which offers staff a vibrant and purpose-built setting designed to inspire. With five spacious rooms filled with natural light dedicated indoor garden spaces a sensory room and a bespoke curriculum the nursery provides a nurturing environment for both children and staff. Commuting is simple with the nursery just a short walk from Canary Wharf Tube and Westferry DLR stations.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed such as room tidying and preparation.

What were looking for

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children Nursery Practitioner Nursery Nurse Early Years Educator Nanny Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
