About the role
At GPHE Digital Service our mission is to drive innovation and empower the Energy Division at Alfa Laval by enabling cutting-edge digital solutions that boost service sales and streamline service execution. We work hand-in-hand with Alfa Lavals IT organization serving as the crucial bridge between technology and business. As a Business Analyst in the GPHE Digital Service team you will support the business in making informed data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities include analyzing data identifying trends and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders. By translating complex information into clear recommendations you will contribute to the development of effective digital solutions for the Business Unit GPHE at Alfa Laval.
Key responsibilities
Turning business needs into clear technical requirements for development.
Creating and maintaining a list of practical ways analytics can support business goals.
Analyzing data building reports or ad hoc analyses (using Power BI) and tracking how analytics tools are used.
Combining information from different data sources on Alfa Lavals global data platform to show how data can be used to build new capabilities establish new ways of working and support business growth.
Working with business experts to identify and fix data quality issues and making improvements together with different teams.
Using data to find service sales leads and opportunities and improving how marketing automations are run at Alfa Laval.
Sharing knowledge and collaborating with analytics teams in other parts of the company.
Design and deliver training to colleagues across marketing & sales organizations.
What you know
You have been working on data analysis and visualization (preferably Power BI). You also need basic understanding of data infrastructure e.g. table structures and databases like SQL and can contribute to discussions around how to extract and connect data. You have basic project management skills and have experience of designing and delivering training courses in an engaging way. Some experience from a data-driven commercial role in marketing and sales is considered a plus. You have a graduate degree in business administration information technology engineering or equivalent. Fluent written and spoken English is a requirement.
