As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Owensville IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps support a secure environment. You will document and communicate security-related observations assist with access control as needed and deliver professional customer service to employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response procedures as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings equipment areas access roads parking areas and perimeter lines; working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access control points verify visitor and contractor authorization when required and document entries exits and patrol activity in daily reports.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing initial scene assessment and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Observe for irregular conditions such as unauthorized persons damaged doors or gates and/or unusual activity and report findings promptly through established communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
