Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for transporting and providing production areas with essential parts and materials.
• Perform housekeeping functions.
• Assist in supporting production areas complete various tasks.
• Operate forklift safely to transport materials.
• Ability to train employees on processes and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
• Identify quality issues and attain established standards.
• Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
• This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team.
• There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because with team-based manufacturing production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to recognize quality problems.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.
• Ability to demonstrate operational decision as required maintaining production levels.
• Ability to read and write.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time squat bend twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
• Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.

Hose Assembly Utility Operator Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 35

Hose Extrusion Utility Operator Physical Requirements:

• Move and control reels of garden hose weighing up to 1200 pounds. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 150 times per shift.
