Head Chef Royal Oak
Were searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Royal Oak - the beating heart of our local community and the place where pub classics meet creative plates locals cant get enough of.
Dont be fooled by the Royal Oaks quaint facade. The only thing distressed at the Oak is the funky decor. The Royal Oak Hotel is a North Adelaide icon and one of the oldest hotels in the area. Its a cool watering hole that attracts all types of people looking to enjoy a refreshing drink a tasty bite or just some good company. The Royal Oak team are passionate about good food coffee wine mixology and music. Our guests dont expect robotic service youll be joining a team that are as cheeky as they are friendly! About the only thing we take seriously is making sure the patrons are having a great time! Guests can soak up the atmosphere in our fabulous beer garden enjoy live entertainment or kick back with friends and family over scrumptious food at the Royal Oak.
Salary:
- From: $82000 superannuation bonus
A day in the life of a Head Chef:
- Command the kitchen like its your own keeping it running smooth safe and profitable
- Be a key part of the leadership crew working closely with the Publican and FOH team
- Share your passion skills and creativity to grow a high-performing kitchen team
- Keep the connection between the kitchen and front of house flowing with good vibes and great food every shift
- Work alongside SAs Executive Chef Paul Baker
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

- Youve got the experience confidence and pride to own the kitchen and make it shine
- Youve got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
- You live and breathe the Head Chef life - creating food people talk about and coming in each day ready to lead
