Job Description
As a Security Officer - Mobile Response Driver in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location you will complete routine patrols and mobile rounds in a company vehicle helping to identify and report security-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence. You will communicate clearly with site contacts and guests document activity and use a computer and/or tablet to support daily operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants shoppers and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas exterior perimeter parking lots and loading areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and key activity areas reporting suspicious behavior maintenance concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts to help to deter incidents.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing assistance and/or direction until additional resources arrive.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and other required documentation accurately and promptly and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
