As a Crutchfield Sales Advisor you will:
- Engage our customers with an open interested and honest rapport about their project and the solutions we offer - no cold calls just genuine conversations.
- Ask questions to uncover a customers needs offer a recommendation for the best solution and make purchasing quick and easy.
- Offer any accessories to provide a better out-of-the-box experience for the customer and their project.
- Collect and provide all appropriate information using our point-of-sale computer applications.
Qualifications:
- Passion for customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability and willingness to learn consumer electronics through on-the-job training
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through phone email and chat
- Ability to work a consistent schedule that includes some evening shifts (up to 8 PM) and some weekend shifts (every other weekend or one day per weekend).
- Previous sales customer service retail restaurant and/or consumer electronics experience is preferred but not required
Training:
Dont worry if you dont know everything about electronics we provide all the training needed for the job. Every new team of Advisors gets three months of paid hands-on training with an experienced instructor before working with customers on their own. Our next training class is scheduled to begin on May 11th 2026.
Salary and Benefits:
Between our competitive base hourly rate of $21.92 and sales incentives our Advisor income average is $59000/year with an opportunity to earn significantly more. This full-time position comes with a comprehensive benefit package including two health insurance plans to choose from along with dental and vision insurance plan options. Onsite and Remote Work:
Our new Advisors will be trained onsite in Charlottesville but after training you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule which allows 2 days working remotely within the Commonwealth of Virginia and 3 days working onsite per week.
