Job Summary

Operate and maintain NGS sequencers (Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms).
Work in the sequencing space cross-functionally executing quality controls and DNA/RNA quantification and NGS library preparation.
Effectively manage inventory of DNA RNA libraries and sequencing reagents.
Meet maintenance schedules and deadlines without supervision.
Maintain detailed documentation of NGS run performance and scientific work in an electronic notebook (ELN).

Qualifications :

Minimum Required Qualifications:

B.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or a related field) with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Hands-on experience with basic molecular biology techniques: PCR qPCR nucleic acid quantification methods and NGS library preparation / QC (Tapestation Qubit etc.)
Strong organizational time management and troubleshooting abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Molecular biology mastery of nucleic acid extraction and purification.
Hands on experience with Amplicon-Sequencing RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq.
Familiarity with CRISPR-based gene editing and high-throughput screening.
Experience with automation (Mantis Integra systems Liquid Handlers SPTLabtech Firefly Tecan etc).
Experience with ELN documentation.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

The position is Full Time Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Boston MA are encouraged to apply.
