The Opportunity:
Were looking for an intern to join our Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management team for a 4-month opportunity. The Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management team delivers branch office and community spaces that support Vancitys members employees and strategic priorities. This role will support a highly collaborative crossâfunctional team and will report into the Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management group working closely with Indigenous Banking and project leadership.
A typical day would involve:
- Supporting delivery of Vancitys first branch on First Nations land a landmark project rooted in reconciliation and community partnership
- Assisting with coordination across multiple workstreams including construction internal banking teams Indigenous Banking Marketing and Facilities
- Attending internal and external meetings preparing agendas taking meeting minutes and track followâups and action items
- Helping organize project schedules documentation and approvals to keep work moving forward
- Providing onâsite and offâsite project support as needed including assisting the construction and fitâout phase
- Supporting change initiatives related to new or adapted banking models designed to better serve Indigenous communities
You are:

You have:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program within an applicable field and eligible for co-op/internship opportunities
- An interest in Indigenous reconciliation and community partnership
- Experience with project coordination or project management
- Knowledge of communityâfocused design and service delivery
- A willingness to work in a highly flexible environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and visual communications
- A high level of attention to detail
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with meeting coordination project documentation and working across diverse stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools (Outlook Teams Excel PowerPoint)
- Interest in construction facilities or project coordination
- Exposure to communityâbased or Indigenousâled initiatives is an asset
- Interest in banking finance or publicâinterest organizations
What Youll Earn:
This role offers a pay range of $27.85/hr.
