Job Summary:
As a Project Manager at National Pavement Partners a leading asphalt and concrete maintenance construction company you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in project management strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of asphalt and concrete construction will be essential in delivering successful projects on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Initiation:
- Collaborate with clients estimators engineers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist with creating scopes of work for potential projects using SpotOnSite.
- Develop & schedule projects considering scopes of work timelines budgets and resource allocation.
- Understand project risk factors to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Coordinate and lead project teams subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of construction projects.
- Monitor project progress track milestones and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Mark out repairs for the assigned projects no later than 72 hours prior to project commencement.
- Update project statuses to customer and team via email and SpotOnSite.
- Cost Management and Budgeting:
- Understand & monitor project budgets including estimates for labor materials and equipment.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve change orders and manage project financials effectively.
- Quality Control and Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce NPPs quality standards to deliver projects to the highest industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture among project teams.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and maintain strong communication throughout the project.
- Address client concerns provide updates and manage expectations proactively.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation including contracts plans and reports.
- Generate regular progress reports for clients and company management.
- Conduct project debriefs to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Team Management and Development:
- Lead motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals and exceed client expectations.
- Provide guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Identify training and development needs for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the asphalt and concrete construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of asphalt and concrete construction processes techniques and materials.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
