Job Summary
Company: Nitterhouse Masonry Products LLC a locally owned and operated manufacturing facility.
Nitterhouse Masonry Products is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at our Guilford Springs block plant. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule with opportunities for overtime and the chance to be part of a respected local manufacturer.
Schedule:
- Monday Thursday 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Overtime on Fridays as needed
Position Overview:
As a Forklift Operator your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient movement of products and materials throughout the plant. You will play a key role in maintaining operational flow while upholding our high standards for safety and quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move products and materials throughout the plant and yard
- Pick up products directly from the production line and palletize them efficiently
- Stage and organize pallets for storage shipping or further processing
- Transport and store finished products in designated yard locations
- Identify and report damaged products shortages or quality issues
- Perform routine equipment checks and notify supervision of any maintenance needs
- Follow all company safety rules and maintain a safe working environment
- Keep work areas forklifts and yard spaces clean and organized
