Urgent Care Veterinarian
A veterinary hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment values teamwork and is passionate about providing high-quality care for pets requiring prompt medical attention.
Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat urgent and non-life-threatening medical conditions in companion animals
Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide medical care minor procedures and stabilization when needed
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses treatment options and follow-up care
Collaborate with veterinarians technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Active or eligible veterinary license
Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and client education abilities
Commitment to compassionate patient-centered care
