How youll contribute
- Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department
- Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration specimen collection and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition communicating with care team physician patient and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living including hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers discharges referrals and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age culture and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
- Patient Populations Served: Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult.
- Exposure: Regular occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing walking lifting/moving patients and repetitive hand/arm movements

What are we looking for:
Education:
- Associates degree in nursing required bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
License/Certifications:
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BCLS required; ACLS PALS and Handle with Care preferred.
