Sr. Test Engineer

The worlds largest highvoltage laboratory is searching for a new Senior Test Engineer!

In this role you will help our customers connect to a greener world whether that means securing power from a floating wind farm or a largescale solar park.

Drive NKTs global testing development and ensure future excellence

In our test laboratories the largest AC & DC electrical test labs in Northern Europe you will take on a senior technical role. You will support both our installation teams and external customers in identifying failures in cable systems across the globe. Travel is required approximately 510 times per year.

Your primary responsibilities:

• Be a part of Testing Technology fault-location preparedness team
• Perform advanced hardware testing on cable systems at our plant in Karlskrona as well as at external sites
• Develop NKTs competence within testing technologies
• Ensure continuous improvement in testing quality and testingtechnology productivity

You will be a part of a highly skilled team based in Karlskrona in the southern part of Karlskrona besides our test lab we have a modern manufacturing facility for manufacturing high voltage and extra high-voltage power cables as well as our cablelaying vessel Victoria.

Engaged and experienced Test Engineer

We are looking for an engaged Senior Test Engineer who together with the rest of the team leads the execution with a technical engineering focus. Your problemsolving capabilities and creative mindset will be key to your success. You thrive in a role with a high level of collaboration both internally and externally and your communication skills are characterized by clarity.

Your qualifications:

• 57 years of experience from a testing environment and/or power engineering or other relevant experience
• Relevant educational background
• A PhD in Electrical Power Engineering Power Systems or a closely related field or equivalent deep technical experience gained through advanced industry experience
• Fluency in English
