About the Role
As an MFL Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage students develop linguistic skills and prepare them for examinations.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Modern Foreign Languages across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level
Planning and delivering structured engaging and differentiated lessons
Monitoring and assessing student progress providing clear and constructive feedback
Supporting students in developing practical communication skills and cultural awareness
Contributing to curriculum planning and resource development within the department
Participating in enrichment activities trips and language competitions
Maintaining a positive inclusive and disciplined classroom environment
Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
Hold a degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject
Possess QTS or PGCE
Have experience teaching MFL at secondary level ideally including GCSE and A-Level
Demonstrate excellent classroom management communication and organisational skills
Be passionate about languages culture and student engagement
