We are looking for a Robotics Test Engineer GNSS / Positioning to join the Automower R&D team in Jönköping. In this role you will work hands-on with testing and validating how our robotic lawn mowers navigate in real-world environments.

You will collaborate closely with developers and engineers to ensure that our positioning systems are accurate robust and ready for real customer environments.

GNSS / RTK / EPOS positioning
Python scripting and test automation

What you will do

As a Robotics Test Engineer your focus will be to test and validate positioning performance in real-world environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Testing RTK/GNSS positioning performance in different outdoor environments
Performing hands-on field testing in test areas and outdoor environments
Identifying and investigating positioning deviations such as drift or loss of fix
Analyzing logs and positioning data to isolate root causes
Designing and executing tests based on field observations and development needs
Contributing to automated regression testing of positioning functions
Collaborating closely with developers and system engineers
Supporting test planning documentation and release readiness

We think you might have

Around 23 years of experience working with positioning technologies such as GNSS or RTK
Experience with testing log analysis or technical troubleshooting
Knowledge of Python scripting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in robotics or autonomous systems
Drivers license (field testing may require travel to test sites)

Nice to have

Experience with robotics or autonomous systems
Experience with embedded systems or outdoor mobile products
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or automated testing workflows
Experience with positioning analysis or sensor fusion
