Job Summary
Overview
The client is transforming its services to be more efficient simple and citizen-focused. The Digital Design and Delivery Division (DDD) leads this transformation by applying human-centred design agile methodology and modern data practices to deliver quality digital services. QA Automation Developers will work as part of cross-functional teams led by GoA product owners and DDD participating in all project activities including research backlog definition sprint planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance efforts for digital services.
- Create test plans test cases and scenarios.
- Design and implement system load performance and security tests.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites.
- Promote QA best practices including code linting test coverage and BDD/TDD.
- Support the creation and maintenance of test databases and AI-assisted testing tools.
- Define and coordinate automated metrics collection and reporting on service quality.
- Adapt services and deliverables based on user and business needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
- 2 years coding and developing new automation scripts.
- 4 years creating/modifying automation test scripts.
- 3 years preparing or supporting automation test plans.
- 3 years using automation testing frameworks.
- 2 years experience with GitHub.
- 3 years experience in load performance security and end-to-end testing.

- API testing (1 year)
- Cucumber/Gherkin (1 year)
- Cypress (1 year)
- Automation testing metrics (1 year)
- Implementing QA automation standards (2 years)
- Jira Xray (1 year)
- User Acceptance Testing in large complex projects (1 year)
