Job Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the overall HR operations in the automobile organization including recruitment employee relations training & development performance management compliance and HR strategy. The role requires strong experience in manufacturing or automobile environments managing blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant technical and corporate roles.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
- Develop hiring strategies for engineers technicians and production staff.
- Manage recruitment agencies and job portals.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Maintain healthy employee relations across plant and corporate teams.
- Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
- HR Operations
- Manage payroll coordination attendance and leave management.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction programs.
- Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in goal setting and performance improvement plans.
- Align employee objectives with company goals.
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs for technical and managerial staff.
- Organize leadership technical and compliance training programs.
- Support career development and succession planning.
- Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Handle factory compliance related to PF ESIC gratuity and labor regulations.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams.
- HR Strategy
- Develop HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
- Support organizational development and workforce planning.
- Provide HR insights to management for decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 8–12 years of HR experience preferably in automobile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience handling plant workforce is preferred.
