About the Role


As a Customer Service Specialist you will be the welcoming voice and face of AMOREM. You will support our staff callers visitors and volunteers while ensuring our office runs efficiently and with heart. This role is perfect for someone who loves multitasking communicating and making a meaningful difference each day.

Requirements

What You Will Do

Answer incoming calls with urgency warmth and professionalism

Greet and assist all visitors to ensure a positive experience

Process walk-in contributions and maintain accurate records

Manage and organize office supplies and staff mailboxes

Oversee maintenance and functionality of office equipment

Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail

Support volunteer services by training and supervising office volunteers

Help prepare mailings

Maintain and update internal lists

Ensure workspace is secure at the end of each day

Provide additional administrative support as needed


Skills and Strengths You Bring

Strong computer literacy and comfort with office software

Outstanding customer service abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable detail-oriented work habits and consistent follow-through

Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy


Education and Experience

High school diploma

Associate degree in secretarial science preferred

Customer service experience preferred


Physical Requirements

Ability to read documents and use a computer effectively

Clear speech and hearing for phone and in-person communication

Capacity to sit for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds bend stand walk kneel and balance as needed.

Manual dexterity for office equipment and keyboard use


Special Requirements

Valid drivers license

Personal vehicle with required insurance
