Job Summary

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems Computer Science or related fieldor equivalent work experience

5 years of telecom experience in VoIP Systems Engineering

Demonstrated expertise in network and system design

Strong SIP expertise

Experience with voice applications such as PBX platforms SIP trunking or serviceprovidergrade voice solutions is expected. This background supports troubleshooting design and platform support responsibilities.

Session Border Controllers (SBCs)

Experience with SBCs such as Acme Packet / Oracle SBCs or comparable solutions is beneficial. Experience with other SBC platforms is acceptable with the expectation that skills are transferable.

Cisco voice technologies

Exposure to Cisco voice solutions is relevant but not mandatory.

Scripting & Systems Skills

Basic scripting capability

Light scripting experience is expected to support Linux-based workflows correlate data automate tasks and improve operational efficiency. Specific languages were not mandated.

Deep understanding of voice protocols and applications such as SIP RTP SDP and TLS

Strong Linux expertise including scripting and tools like grep awk tcpdump vmstat

Extensive experience with Web Services: REST and SOAP

Solid problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Working knowledge of web protocols such as HTTPS DNS SAML

Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies: Ethernet VLANs Routing
