Job Summary

We are looking for a hard worker to do basic maintenance and repairs at apartment buildings.

Responsibilities:

Change air filters and test smoke detectors.
Do small plumbing and carpentry fixes (fix leaks patch drywall).
Walk through buildings to check for damage or safety issues.
Use a company iPad to track what you fixed.
Help clean up and prep vacant apartments.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year of building maintenance construction or related trade experience
Valid drivers license
Ability to operate tablets and mobile applications
Ability to follow NSPIRE and HQS protocols
Subject to drug screening and background check

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to stand walk bend stoop climb stairs and work in confined spaces

Work Environment

Exposure to typical maintenance-related hazards (mechanical chemical environmental)
Use of required PPE
Work may involve deadlines and coordination across multiple properties

Employment Terms

Seasonal appointment not to exceed nine (9) months
May require alternate schedules or emergency response
Work performed under general supervision

Priority will be given to current residents Paducah County residents.

Required Skills:

Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman (flatwork and structural required). Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a crew efficiently. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. Knowledge of forming systems finishing techniques and structural concrete practices. Experience with drainage structures and DOT-related work preferred. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Valid drivers license required. Ability to bring an established crew (preferred).
