Host/Hostess

As a Host/Hostess you will be the first point of contact for guests creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. Youll manage reservations coordinate seating and assist in ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. This role is key to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience and reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the welcoming face of our hotels dining experiences ensuring guests feel at home and have a memorable meal.
• Your daily tasks will include greeting guests managing reservations and coordinating table assignments.
• You will report to the Restaurant Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
• A career as a host/hostess can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry such as server banquet staff or even food and beverage management positions.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A combination of education and experience

What Youll Need to Succeed

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed
• A warm professional demeanor that reflects HVMGs Culture of Excellenceby showing a warm smile friendly personality and positive attitude.
