Midas Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at the Element in Springfield MO. This person will be in charge of overseeing the housekeeping staff and department under the direction and supervision of the Executive Housekeeper. We are looking for an energetic and thorough person who will help our hotel be award winning and ensure the satisfaction of all hotel guest
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms turndown service public areas and back of the house.
- Obtain list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned and prospective rooms to prepare work assignments.
- Maintain all supplies and equipment as well as assist in monthly inventory and maintain inventory levels
- Maintain the security of all housekeeping maid and guest room keys at all times.
- Document and communicate maintenance requests to maintenance department.
- Sorts counts folds marks or carries linens.
- Makes beds.
- Replenishes guestroom supplies such as coffee glasses shampoo soap and other amenities.
- Sweeps and scrubs bathroom floors.
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Scrubs bathroom vanity toilet mirrors walls and bathroom fan.
The Ideal Candidate:
- One year of supervisory experience.
- One year of housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.
