Where does this role fit in

This role sits within the Finance Department and reports to the Finance Business Partner.

Youll support monthly management accounts reconciliations variance and trend analysis and performance reporting across the Groups Repairs & Maintenance functions. Youll also assist with system optimisation and help develop streamlined reporting frameworks to improve financial insight and decision-making.

What skills and experience do you need

Youll ideally have:

  • Experience working in a finance environment
  • Experience completing reconciliations and analysing data
  • Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and lookups)
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
  • A proactive approach someone who shows initiative asks questions and looks for ways to improve processes
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid way with occasional travel to services across the business and attendance at head offices for meetings as required

Pay and Pensions

  • The exact salary is 27718 for a 37 hour full time 12 months Temporary position

Time off and Flexibility

  • 26 days holiday pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
  • Working hours are mainly Monday to Friday with the option to work compressed hours across a 9 day fortnight.
  • This is a hybrid role with head offices in Newport Cardiff and Swansea your main base will be the office closest to your home location.
  • Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks
  • Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
