Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a supervisor to join our team in Camden Arkansas. This positions requires someone to work with parties inside and outside of their own team to explain and interpret policies practices and procedures. Adjusts basic procedures and processes. Plans and establishes operational objectives for a team with some impact on department results. Understands basic supervisory approaches and has practical knowledge of job area. Does not have budget or Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e.g. overtime for staff).

Essential Functions:

Provides day-to-day work direction for direct report(s) focuses on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions.
Provides input on hiring firing promotion performance and/or compensation decisions for direct report(s).
Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
Follows established processes to complete tasks.
Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
Resolves most issues.
Ability and willingness to learn and operate all subscale equipment as needed to meet schedule demands.
Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineer lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related engineer experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Casting and/or mixing experience
Propellant and/or explosives experience
