Duty Technician Flexible Part Time

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly The William Inglis Hotel is looking for a Part-Time Duty Technician to join our team and assist with the day-to-day maintenance of our beautiful hotel. Were open to being flexible with hours for the right candidate whether youre an experienced tradesperson looking for part-time work or simply someone who enjoys using your skills to keep things in top shape wed love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance of the building plant equipment fixtures and fittings.

• Conduct daily plant rounds and report or repair equipment as needed.

• Carry out maintenance tasks as scheduled including mechanical and water systems.

• Record and track maintenance tasks repairs and preventative schedules.

• Liaise with supervisors contractors and other team members to ensure areas are operational and safe.

• Support workplace health and safety procedures ensuring a safe environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications :

• Experience in building maintenance engineering or construction.

• Trade qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.

• Experience with hand tools and basic mechanical/electrical systems.

• Previous experience in a hotel resort or hospitality setting is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Good written and spoken English.
