Job Description:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facilitys structure equipment and grounds including all trades (mechanical plumbing electrical HVAC etc.). Performs trades work such as carpentry or painting in the construction repair or alteration of structures such as walls roofs or office fixtures. Conducts routine periodic or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities machinery and equipment. Uses blueprints sketches layouts wiring diagrams drawings and specifications. Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications
Essential Functions:
Fully proficient support individual contributor. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.
Work may be structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Resolves most issues.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.
