Job Description
As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Summerville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet associates and drivers support access control and document observations using site systems while communicating clearly with operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and post orders at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas loading docks trailer yards and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues.
- Control access at entry points by checking identification verifying appointments directing visitors and drivers and documenting arrivals departures and deliveries per site policy.
- Complete detailed reports of observations incidents and patrol activity and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
