About the Role
As an IT Technician you will provide technical support to staff and students while maintaining the schools IT systems and hardware. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-line technical support for staff and students.

  • Installing configuring and maintaining computers laptops and classroom technology.

  • Supporting the school network printers and AV equipment.

  • Assisting with troubleshooting hardware software and connectivity issues.

  • Supporting the implementation of new IT systems and digital learning tools.

  • Maintaining accurate records of support requests and system updates.

  • Assisting with system security backups and updates.

You will work closely with the wider IT team and school leadership to ensure that all technology systems remain reliable secure and effective in supporting teaching and learning.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in IT support technician or helpdesk roles.

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems networks and hardware troubleshooting.

  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.

  • A proactive and professional approach to IT support.
