A. Demand Forecasting & Pattern Analysis
- Design and implement demand management processes aligned with ITIL 4 including demand identification analysis forecasting and communication to stakeholders.
- Develop Patterns of Business Activity (PBA) models to predict service demand cycles across data center operations cloud services and managed services.
- Build demand forecasting dashboards using historical data seasonal trends growth projections and client onboarding pipelines.
- Establish early warning mechanisms for demand spikes and capacity constraints.
B. Capacity & Resource Optimization
- Integrate demand management with Capacity Management and Financial Management practices to ensure proactive resource planning.
- Develop resource allocation models that align staffing infrastructure and service capacity with forecasted demand.
- Support FinOps initiatives by providing demand data for cost optimization and cloud resource right-sizing.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to align contracts with demand forecasts.
C. Process Design & ITSM Integration
- Configure demand management modules in ServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM platform) for demand capture categorization and prioritization.
- Design demand intake workflows with automated routing to appropriate capacity planning and delivery teams.
- Establish demand governance framework including demand review boards prioritization criteria and approval workflows.
- Create standard operating procedures for demand submission assessment and fulfillment.
D. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Produce regular demand reports and executive dashboards showing demand trends fulfillment rates and capacity utilization.
- Present demand forecasts and recommendations to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
- Facilitate demand review meetings with business units to validate forecasts and adjust plans.
- Drive continuous improvement through demand accuracy analysis and process optimization.
