Job Summary

Position : ADF snowflake Developer

Location : Milwaukee WI (Onsite)

Term : C2C/W2/Full Time Role

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled ADF Snowflake Developer with strong experience in building scalable data pipelines and modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) Snowflake SQL and ETL/ELT processes to design and implement data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Build and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
Implement data transformation data cleansing and data validation processes.
Optimize Snowflake queries warehouses and storage for performance and cost efficiency.
Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON Parquet CSV etc.).
Implement data security governance and access controls in Snowflake.
Monitor and troubleshoot ADF pipelines and Snowflake workloads.
Collaborate with data analysts data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
Implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines where applicable.

Required Skills / Qualifications

5 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
Experience with Azure ecosystem (ADLS Azure SQL Azure Functions etc.).
Knowledge of data modeling (Star Schema Snowflake Schema).
Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with Python or Spark.
Experience with Azure Databricks.
Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD tools (Azure DevOps Git).
Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
Experience working in Agile environments.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
