The Role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our fast-paced high-performing international accounting team. As we continue to grow and expand globally we understand that hiring the right people and treating them well is key to our success! We are a multi-national company with locations in 18 countries with each location contributing to Proofpoints amazing culture. This individual will be an integral part of the wider accounting team working on both U.S. and EMEA entities. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Process AP Invoices for multiple entities in various currencies accurately & in a timely manner.
• Review and approve employee expenses
• Managing AP Queries
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders & vendors via email
• Assisting with the preparation of payment proposals
• Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management

Qualifications:

• 2 years of accounts payable and/or T&E experience or related finance functions
• Effective communication skills and promote an engaging environment.
• Strong analytical organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Open mindset of continuous improvement working with business partners to effect change.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable best practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving organization
