You will be responsible for undertaking 3D digital documentation projects and supporting research activities including all aspects of 3D digital documentation data capture and processing for a range of conservation and asset management digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of this role
This is a focused and specialised technical role undertaking 3D capture and data processing data management of complex datasets contributing to the successful delivery of strategic organisational priorities. Key responsibilities and duties will include:
Digital documentation data processing on a diverse range of large and complex projects using specialised 3D software.
Undertaking quality assurance of your own work and that of others within the team.
Migration of older Leica Cyclone databases to Leica Cyclone Register 360 and archival formats to ensure safeguarding of digital data for the future.
Data post-processing including conversion of point clouds to Potree format.
Metadata completion for digital documentation projects.
Establishment and management of tracking databases.
File management of a diverse range of digital documentation datasets on dedicated server.
Processing 3D data access requests.
Undertaking critical backup to magnetic tape medium.
Assisting digital documentation fieldwork.
