We are seeking DevOps Engineers to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) team who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. The MLX team is at the forefront of how Capital One builds and deploys responsible ML models and features; we onboard and educate associates on the ML platforms and products that the whole company uses; we drive new innovation and research; and were working to seamlessly infuse Generative AI and ML into the fabric of the company. The AI experience were creating is the foundation upon which our lines of business will continue to deliver next-generation machine learning-driven products and services for our customers. As a DevOps Engineer youll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.
What Youll Do:
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design develop test implement and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends experimenting with and learning new technologies participating in internal & external technology communities and mentoring other members of the engineering community
Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment
Build and manage tools for version control CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (IaC) containerization and monitoring.
Utilize programming languages like Java Python SQL Ruby and Go Container Orchestration services including Docker Kubernetes and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science
At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform)
At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience with Terraform or Ansible
2 years of experience with container orchestration services including Docker or Kubernetes
2 years of experience with coding and scripting (Python SQL Java JavaScript Golang Bash Perl or Ruby)
2 years of experience working with Agile Development Practices
