Tractor Disc Operator

Key Information:

Hours: Project dependent. Overtime required.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on various schedules.
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

Must be able to operate a tractor disc in a safe and efficient manner.
Must be able to understand how to prepare the soil to dry for compaction.
Must be familiar with aspects of road construction and compaction of soil.
Willing to help ground personnel when required.
Preform pre and post trip inspections on the unit.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

Must have 2 seasons as a Tractor Disc Operator.
Understand the issues involving ground disturbance.
CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 and ground disturbance 201 are required.
Valid class 5 drivers license required.
A drivers abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Safety Oriented.
Valid class 5 drivers license required.
A drivers abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
