JOB SUMMARY

The Floor Supervisor plays a key leadership role in the daily operations of Mamaqtuq Restaurant. This position provides on-shift supervision to frontofhouse staff while actively participating in service to ensure high-quality guest experience. The Floor Supervisor supports staff training and development maintains service standards and assists with operational oversight to ensure smooth efficient and professional restaurant operations.



QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be/have:

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fastpaced setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and support a team on shift.
  • Ability to multitask and remain actively involved in frontofhouse service while providing supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • General understanding of frontofhouse restaurant operations service flow and guest experience standards.
  • Knowledge of food safety sanitation and workplace safety practices.
  • Willingness and ability to support onboarding and onthejob training of service staff.
  • Physical ability to perform frontofhouse duties including standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
  • Food Safe Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Experience training coaching or mentoring staff.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cashhandling procedures.
  • Experience supporting service standards procedures or training materials.
  • Ability to respond effectively to guest concerns and operational issues during busy service periods.
